The 23-year-old Derry Scherhant was a key figure in the recent 2-2 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt. The forward scored the equaliser in the 34th minute and, just two minutes after Frankfurt's second goal, provided the assist for Yuito Suzuki's key strike in the 48th minute. For this performance, Scherhant was voted Man of the Match by fans and named in kicker's Team of the Matchday.

The Japanese forward also scored in the 5-0 home win against Borussia Mönchengladbach and is a central factor in the strong start.
